The name MSTAAFRIKA means a civilized person who does things in the African way for the betterment of African societies. Its motto “Taa ya Mitaa ya Afrika Kifikra” means Mental Light of African Streets.

Mstaafrika is a music band is based in Arusha Tanzania, composed of artists from different groups representing a variety of genres such as Hip Hop, Afro-fusion, Riddim, Dance as well as traditional African music and ngoma. This combination creates a unique and international sound with African vibe to it.

Founded in 2014 the band specializes in life performances across international stages in Africa, Europe and Asia. With Xplastaz and as a solo artist, Kamaa has performed in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, France, UK, Netherlands, and Brazil. While Uncle Gwith Serengeti band he had been on stage in Dubai and Nairobi Kenya.
